“ Great experience and delicious food! The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is so pretty and classy. Glassware on the table, beautiful white piano, artwork that moves Our server Rae was fantastic. Didn’t have to wait for water to be filled up, bread brought to our table, other staff coming over to check how our experience had been. The food was amazing! I got the spicy rigatoni and my husband got the stuffed pork chop. (We also got a pizza to share that was sooooo good) We loved it. We had just gone to another Chef Joey restaurant two weekends again, The Mexicano, and had a very disappointing experience so this was such a huge step up and we were so impressed! ”

“ First time at the Italiano did not disappoint! Went there for the aesthetics and pasta and I left a very happy girl. All the food was amazing. The lobster ravioli did throw me off a bit only because it’s stiff with a cream, not actually lobster meat so just a heads up, if you’re a texture person like myself. The texture is very mushy, but the flavor was good. The atmosphere is amazing! Everyone is very friendly and speaks to everyone. It gives family feel for sure. My service was okay. Wish it was a bit better. I felt like I couldn’t find my waiter anytime I needed something and he very sparsely checked on my table. But overall he was nice and informative. A great place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, etc. and pretty affordable too if I may add. ”

“ The Italiano Alyssa Giovanni Byssus 2 **, I couldn’t give it a five star because my meal, although the atmosphere was fabulous all the employees and management were wonderful. Alyssa our hostess that seated us was precious. And I could go on and on about Giovanni our waiter, so wonderful straight from Sicily. I ordered one of the most expensive dishes on the menu at a whopping $45, called the seafood MARE. Turns out that it was mostly fettuccine and a light liquid pasta water broth. The muscles were grainy and full of byssal (beards). literally, I thought my husband and myself were gonna break a couple teeth. The calamari was cooked perfect but then we tried the scallop. It was a wet scallop (chemicals), not a dry scallop, it tasted like it had a ton of chemicals and both of us had something that was rock hard and the scallop that we ate and we thought we’re gonna break our tooth again. Both of our dishes although they were different we’re pretty bland. We had to ask for cheese and some chili flakes. The fettuccine was cooked al dente, love that. This would be a good place to go have cocktails, so I’m not sure if I want to spend that my kind of money to go back to eat the food that I was extremely disappointed in. We were at the other chef Joey restaurant and loved the food, we loved his creativity this place, not so much. It’s very hip and decorated with a flare. I just can’t recommend unless you’re just having cocktails. Did I happen to mention that we believe most of the menu was very overpriced ! ”

“ Had a really nice dinner at The Italiano! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and really made us feel welcome. We started with a round of cocktails and a couple of appetizers, and both were fantastic. The drinks were perfectly balanced, and the starters had great flavor and presentation. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the entree— I ordered the Ravioli Del Plin and found it a little underwhelming. It didn’t have much flavor and could’ve used something to bring it to life. That said, the overall experience was still very enjoyable. Great vibe, great people, and I’d definitely come back to try something else on the menu! ”

“ It was my first time here and is one of my favorite new places! The atmosphere is really cool and eclectic with stunning painted ceilings and light up Michelangelo and Botticelli murals on the wall that change lights. It’s very impressive and beautiful visually. The food was amazing! I was there for Restaurant Week so I got to try 5 courses and not one disappointed. The salad was out of this world and I BEG they put it on the menu full time. A perfect blend of bitter, crunchy, sweet and salty with a fabulous dressing! The service was excellent and Geneva was so nice and made the perfect icey martini just the way I like it. The vibe is energizing so fun for a girls night, family gathering or a date. I will be back for sure! I can’t wait to try the Happy Hour menu too. ”
